In 2008 Erik and Donovan started Systems Waterproofing with a vision to build a business that partners with general contractors and maintenance managers to protect their building projects. Since then, Systems Waterproofing established itself as a leading Southern California sub-contractor, protecting warehouses, hotels & resorts, stadiums, and retail spaces. We have worked with contractors on major projects for clients like; Disneyland, Walmart, Target, HOAG Hospital, Home Depot, Sprouts, Great Wolf Lodge, San Diego Tech Center and many more. By focusing on recruiting and developing quality people, we desire to continuing growing, mastering new techniques in order to meet tomorrow’s needs.

Donovan McReynolds

President & CoFounder

Donovan co-founded Systems Waterproofing in 2008 with a desire to develop a company from the ground up. Today, Systems Waterproofing is a growing company working in 3 states with 75+ employees. He leads the sales team with his experienced and intimate knowledge of the waterproofing, sealants and coatings. He works with clients by understanding each projects unique requirements and needs while providing fair and competitive pricing.

Erik Paulson

Vice President & CoFounder

Erik always hoped he would own and operate his own business. In 2008, Erik co-founded Systems Waterproofing he took on the role of operations for the business. His responsibilities include hiring personnel, working with distributors on inventory, negotiating credit terms, and purchasing field equipment and vehicles. He enjoys work with his team to provide clients, on time installation, professional installation and friendly service.

Jimmy Dent

Project Executive

Jimmy has more than a 13 years in the industry and is part of the sales team, provides bidding on both prevailing wage and private projects.

Ethan Valtierra

Sealants and Deck Coating Manager

Ethan focuses on scheduling, submittals, costing jobs, dispatching foreman’s, warrantees, and information on projects.

Antonio Juarez

Waterproofing Manager

Antonio specializes on caulking, deck coatings, leaks and repairs, scheduling, warrantee, and water proofing submittals.

Jessica Bishop

Project Manager

Nolan Steputis

Project Manager

Nolan started with Systems Waterproofing in June 2016 and is part of the sales team. He provides bids on multiple types of projects and works closely with our clients.

MaryAnn Jeffers

Office Manager

MaryAnn oversees the administrations of the office, insurance, billing, and fixer of problems.

Handles all billings, releases, and labor compliance.
